Triple L: Leadership in Language and Literacy Doctoral Scholars
The Triple L doctoral training program in the School of Communication Science and Disorders at
Florida State University is designed to build the capacity of future leaders in speech-language
pathology. Students will develop specialized knowledge to foster research and innovations for
improving language and literacy outcomes for children with developmental disabilities from
culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. The Triple L project supports doctoral level
graduate students to generate, implement, evaluate and disseminate high-quality research,
evidence-based practice, and policy.
